Max was raised in Santa Clarita, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. He then worked at Deloitte as a Tax Consultant and at Takenaka Partners as an Investment Banking Associate.
Max studied accounting because he viewed it as the safest pathway to help his family out of poverty. He is grateful for the way his parents raised him, so he now wants to return the favor by taking care of them as they grow older.
Max passed his CPA exams and fulfilled his experience requirements in 2022. After thoughtful consideration and preparation, he started his own company, Max Lee Bookkeeping & Tax. He believes that this will enable him to make meaningful connections with business owners who share his passion for building wealth and helping others.
